Blue Topaz Earrings

A 1910 opera house chandelier's crystal drops and gilt metalwork.

The components of these earrings were once part of a 1950s-era _Czechoslovakian Glassworks_ factory sample display, a miniature showcase of colored glass rods and findings. The glass rods have been sliced into thin discs and reassembled into a pair of earrings, with gold accents fashioned from a repurposed 1920s watch chain. The reimagined pieces now dangle from a delicate gold-plated earwire, refracting light and casting a miniature glow.
