Black Heart Earrings
A 1905 opera house chandelier's black glass drops.
The delicate glass components of this enchanting pair of earrings were once part of a chandelier that illuminated a Viennese opera house's foyer during the 1920s. Tatjana Kreiner carefully salvaged the glass, reworking it into heart-shaped forms that she hand-painted with intricate gold accents, thus transforming the remnants of a bygone era into a wearable, modern treasure. Suspended from delicate gold findings, these black glass hearts now dance with every movement, their subtle luminosity a testament to their storied past.
