Hand Painted Heart Drops

A discarded 1950s Christmas tree decoration set from a German department store.

These heart-shaped earrings were once part of a 1980s-era Valentine's Day display, their plastic forms molded to adorn a department store window. Tatjana Kreiner has painstakingly hand-painted the pair in shades of green and red, retaining the original molds' gentle curves while imbuing them with a new, delicate beauty. Now, the earrings dangle from slender hooks, ready to be worn as a playful, modern tribute to the original display's festive spirit.

Plastic earrings featuring hand-painted, heart-shaped designs in red and green.
