Rock with Brown Ring

A 1902 Austrian geologist's sample collection stone.

The _Moonstone of the Black Forest Railway_ was once a railway carriage lamp from 1968, its metal shell and glass globe a familiar sight on the winding tracks of rural Germany. Tatjana Kreiner has repurposed the lamp's original glass and metalwork into a miniature, encasing a white rock with a distinctive brown ring within a delicate, hand-welded metal frame. Now, this one-of-a-kind piece serves as a tiny, self-contained world, its glassy depths inviting contemplation.

Miniature ring featuring a white rock with a distinctive brown ring formation, crafted from natural stone.
