Weathered Glass Ring
A 1952 apothecary jar from a flooded pharmacy on Rue Fontaine, Paris.
A salvaged wine glass from a 1972 train's dining car, _La Vie En Rose_, whose crystal clarity was often obscured by the haze of cigarette smoke and convivial chatter. Tatjana Kreiner has retained the glass's delicate shape, while rebuilding its base from a weathered wooden fragment and hand-painting a blue and red ring around the bowl, evoking the faded labels of wine bottles. Now, this diminutive glass stands alone, poised to cradle a single sip of wine, its ringed pattern glowing like a subtle beacon.
A glass earring featuring a hand-painted blue and red ring around a clear glass body.
