Floral Table with Brass

A 1905 opera house chandelier's porcelain drop.

This miniature table was once a discarded porcelain teacup from a 1915 afternoon service, cast aside during a spring cleaning three winters ago. Tatjana Kreiner salvaged the delicate floral print and reimagined it as a diminutive tabletop, supported by slender brass legs fashioned from a disassembled railway carriage lamp from 1968. The resulting diorama invites the viewer to linger in a whimsical Victorian market scene, complete with intricate details and textures that evoke a bygone era.
